I was turned onto the idea of travel routers several years ago from a YouTube video from CrossTalk Solutions.
This past year Ubiquiti released its first travel router and since I’m already fully into the UniFi ecosystem it only made sense to pick one up.
I finally got a chance to use it for real this weekend, and I must say the integration with the UniFi app for configuring it is really a nice touch. It of course comes with many other features to be able to connect back to your home/office network, but I really enjoyed being able to get it up and running quickly and easily.
